The corner
The dining room is downstairs: red benches, white cloths, dark wood, a patterned ceiling. The two fencers stand by the wall. You sit down. Nobody sends you around the corner for a bakery.

Coffee comes out of the machine. Then bread, cold cuts, cheese, something sweet, cereal, fruit. Lactose-free milk is labelled, next to the full-fat. That is the buffet.
It starts at 06:00 — early train, tram 46, U3 Ottakring, or the hospital next door. Reception is staffed around the clock. From 12:00 the same room is the restaurant. Stay on, breakfast first, lunch later, without leaving the house.
The fencers have been here longer than the buffet.
